Treatment Model

This is an exciting time to be in my field.  All the treatment strategies I use in my practice are united by an overarching model of neuroplasticity and neural network theory.  The most effective therapeutic strategies I have discovered work because they are consistent with this model.  Recent findings in neuroplasticity provide more hope than ever for positive changes and healing.  Your brain has a built-in series of programs to make those changes.  I use an integrated treatment approach that maximizes the benefits of a number of strategies all working together within this model of hope.  If you are unfamiliar with brain neuroplasticity, I recommend the bestselling book The Brain’s Way of Healing” by neuropsychiatrist Norman Doidge, M.D. as an introduction.
